Tuna Azul was the first place we ate at upon arrival in PV as recommended by our hotel. We went to happy hour and got margaritas, grilled fish tacos & the smoked marlin burrito. All were to die for. The service was dialed by all…employees and Cristian, our server, was wonderful. Great location and food – we can’t wait to go back.More
We had read about Tuna Azul on trip advisor and it certainly lived up to the hype. This is a reasonably priced, delicious experience. The flavors were amazing with everything we ate. The Tuna Tacos and Passion Fruit Pie were some standouts we enjoyed.
We enjoyed an amazing meal whit my friends, the service was incredible, excellent drinks, the montadito classic was Delicious, crab meet enchiladas, They must visit tuna azul, Cristian!!! Our waiter, have us an excellent service, very fast, friendly, he looks good. Thanks you
My two friends and I spent a day on the beach and then had lunch at Tuna Azul, and we could not have picked a better place. Just a few blocks away from the beach, a really cute restaurant with cozy decor. We sat on…the balcony and enjoyed a warm breeze. Our waiter Christian immediately introduced himself and took our orders. With every meal, he provided recommendations on which sauce would go best with it, and made sure we always have everything we need. The service was just top notch! The food was incredible, we had some of the best bites in PV, the shrimp ceviche tostada was to die for, and I had to order a second stingray quesadilla because it was just too good. Tuna montatido classic and the coconut shrimp were also really good. The cost of our bill was unbelievable low for such quality food. Thank you Christian for taking care of us so well!More
We visited Puerto Vallarta as part of a cruise. We looked up restaurants online as my husband wanted to try aguachile. Tuna Azul was recommended online and it did not disappointed. Lovely location and menu. Enrique was fantastic and very helpful with ordering. My husband…loved the aguachile and the tuna tacos that I ordered were delicious – 5 star food! We also both enjoyed a margarita. Overall a great experience, the best food during our 11 day cruise vacation and excellent, friendly staff. We hope to return to Puerto Vallarta in the future and if we do will be making many trips to Tuna Azul.More
Okay, I normally take raving reviews for places closest to the beach with a touch of disbelief … and that has been pretty accurate … until tonight. I really wanted fish tacos for supper and we’ve walked past repeatedly. I saw good reviews and thought…we’d give it a try. OMG, the tacos de chicharrón de atún were the best fish taco I’ve ever had. The marlin al pastor was also very good. The service and friendliness of staff was beyond belief. Will. Be. Back. ????More
This is one of our favorite spots in PV. We typically visit twice a year and always make sure we dine at Tuna Azul at least two times. We were pleasantly surprised to see they have expanded to another level to allow for more seating….Still same great service and food!More
Seafood taco special came with a corona. It was so delicious that we ordered a second round! Highly recommend giving it a try!

Last visited in 2018, food was amazing then but even gotten better now. I recommend the tuna burger. Perfectly cooked. The rest of the menu is delightful. Service A plus. Only negative ( not really ) : cash only.
Amazing food, fantastic drinks, top-notch service and fair prices. You can’t go wrong with this place. The crab enchiladas were my favorite dish.
We had a fabulous seafood meal at this eclectic joint. A bargain and a feast for just $20 per person. Our waiter Pedro was patient, kind and attentive!
Great dinner. Last stop of our trip and should have been first!! Will return next time in PV. Guac, garlic shrimp tacos, and montadito de atun (tuna poke…or best tuna had in PV). Pedro and everyone at Tuna Azul was warm and welcoming. Prices cant…be beat!! Dont sleep on this place-it is not a tourist trap or we would not have gone. Thanks Pedro and Tuna Azul!!More
The meal here was excellent and at a very reasonable price. All dishes were delicious. The tuna chicharron was eaten as a meal by two of us and they loved it. I.had the seared tuna, perfectly prepared. Also had rock shrimp (yummy sauce) anf the…lobster tacos (good, but not up to the hype). All in all, great meal with attentive waiter Pedro. Cash only! Had a great experience here. The food and service were great. We made reservations and were promptly seated. We tried several of the cocktails. They were very good as well as many of the tuna dishes. The fish was fresh and tasty, and we ate…more than we were planning because it was so good.More
