We had been in Puerto Vallarta for 5 nights and when we decided to stay another night, we picked La Leche for dinner. Upon walking in, we were greeted quickly and they wanted to take a picture of us near their cool back drops. When…we sat down, we were given a review of the drinks and food by Rodolfo and Erik. If it wasn’t for them, we would have been lost. The bartender had a cart and made us two delicious cocktails. We then ordered the salad with green beans and spinach as well as the Oysters Rockefeller. The salad was big and extremely tasty. The oysters were huge and full of flavor. My wife ordered the mahi mahi which was super fresh and big. I ordered the pork shoulder and it fell off the bone. I couldn’t finish it – but it was as tender as you’d want it to be. They had a beautiful jazz band and everyone was into the scene. When we come back to PV, La Leche will be at the top of our list and the Rodolfo/Erik combo will be our request.More

One of the best culinary experiences in PV so far. Eduardo and Gabriel gave us recommendations based on our general preferences and they didn’t disappoint. Yes, on the pricier side but worth it. Food, drinks, and dessert all amazing. Starter: Sopa de nada (cream veggie…soup) Main Courses: Cochi cochi (braised ribs) – Korean BBQ fusion fall of the bone ribs, large portion enough to share Chamorro fui fui (tender pork) – super tender meat, ask for the spray de Chile’s sauce on the side Drinks: Margarita spiced turkey, Niño de oro (Baileys & expresso) Desserts: Dessert platter includes 3 ice cream flavors and 3 desserts, chef’s choice. A bit out of the way from city center, but just a 25 minute drive. Reservation not necessary but recommendedMore

Went because it sounded like a fun and unique experience, but we ended up only having a few appetizers and leaving to get tacos. The food itself was fine enough, but the menu (which you awkwardly have to view on your phone) was kind of…underwhelming, so it just feels like they’re banking on the aesthetic gimmick to get people in the door. I don’t hold it all against them. Our reservation was definitely early for the dinner rush (obviously, completely our fault), so the restaurant was empty. It was just us, another table or two, and the extremely loud DJ, which made the whole “all white” thing feel very stark and awkward. I imagine the experience would have been much more enjoyable if the place was bustling, because it definitely looks like it could be a great vibe in there when it’s full of people having fun. Lesson learned.More

Had not been here in many years and went back tonight. In the last 14 days this was the most disappointing and expensive meal I had. I’m not a fan of menus access to on your cell phone. If you can pay that much for…dinner, they can print a piece of paper.More

The staff was so attentive and the food was great! Had a wonderful birthday here. Special thanks to Erik and Cesia for getting the DJ and sparklers for a little extra fiesta.

La Leche is an amazing restaurant. Just a great vibe and so aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the lobster tail and I don’t think I’ve ever had such a large and delicious lobster tail. Ilse and Eduardo gave us amazing service. I feel like they anticipated…our needs. Over all 10/10 highly recommend.More

The food and vibes at la leche are spot on for a celebration. Ilse and Eduardo were extremely attentive and engaging. The espresso martinis, disco ball, background DJ, lobster tail and incredible service all came together to provide a truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

As. “Bachelorette ” I wore white while my friends wore all black. It was a great photo opportunity. The lobster is GIGANTIC. The cheesecake is slightly sweet and wonderfully textured. It’s a strange vibe, the disco moments during dinner was something I didn’t think I…would enjoy, but I did! I was bribed to make this review, but that speaks more to my frugality than to this restaurant. I’m honest about my review, regardless.More

We both had Panko crusted mahi- mahi fish with three dollops of guacamole. The food was well prepared, somewhat bland and not extremely exciting for the price. We did not order appetizers soup, salad or dessert we brought our own wine and was charged a…cork fee, of which we were aware of as that is usually a standard practice. The restaurant has great ambiance. The music played was great, but played to loudly for dining. The service was attentive and cordial We were charged $93.00 dollars American, including tip on our credit card. It was too pricey for the caliber of food servedMore

I really enjoyed my dinner. The only reason I didn’t give them a five was because it was close to American prices. That was a little hard for me given the dining bargains all over Puerto Vallarta. But, the service was just as everyone relates–…very attentive and charming. I really liked the ambience– it was a whole scene with the music and unique decor. I had a very nice Mahi Mahi with snowpeas, tender and flavorful, a delicious not too sweet slice of cheesecake with nuts, and the nicest glass of Mexican wine I have had in PV. My only disappointment was the pineapple mezcal cocktail which wasn’t quite right. Not too tasty. I went back in two nights later just for a glass of that wine. they don’t have a bar but were happy to seat me just for a glass of wine. They weren’t too busy at the time. They really are welcoming. If you want a unique experience and you aren’t looking for the least expensive option as a matter of principle, you will have a nice meal here. Unlike another reviewer, I enjoyed the music. It was low key dance remixes and just added to the sense of fun for me anyway.More

We had reservations for 6:30 and when we arrived, we were greeted and promptly taken to a table. There were two other occupied tables. The first thing we noticed was that they had disco type music blaring so loudly we could not have a conversation….We were shocked that in such a “high end” restaurant this would occur. We asked them to turn it down, which they did for about 3 minutes. We should have gotten up and left. The food was not very good, and the quantities were small. The fettuccine (420) with clams was dry and the clams were about the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil. The raviolis (540) were covered in breadcrumbs and cheese with marginal sauce and were dry, the dozen oysters (480) were ok but really small. The duck (560) was ok. The bottle of wine was the most fairly priced (650). Total was 4,135p w/o tip, way too much for the meal provided.More

This is an excellent upscale restaurant in PV. We met some friends here last night and it blew our minds. Everything was so tasty and the presentation is excellent. Our server, Carlos was wonderful. His English is 10/10. The cocktails are phenomenal. Go here.

Stopped in for an early dinner at 6:15 PM. The wait staff were impeccable I had the margarita with Mezcal she had a hibiscus grapefruit and Mezcal. Both were on point. She ordered a vegan option with grilled asparagus, zucchini and potato’s she loved and…I had the carne ravioli. It was the 3rd best ravioli I’ve had in my life and that’s high praise. If you go to the bathrooms outside in the outdoor bar area take a moment to appreciate the walls. It’s a music recording theme that’s not blatant unless you look. Ilse was outstanding, giving us a tour but the whole staff were on there A gameMore
