Happened to walk by this place while exploring quieter streets away from the Malecon. It was packed mostly with locals. Returned in the early evening with family and it was empty. It turns out it was near closing but they were still happy to serve…us. Not a fancy place, but fresh and delicious food and for a very good price. I was pleased with everything including the mahi mahi, shrimp, octopus and cold beer.More
it was very ???????????????????????????????? good.Not expensive.I would recommend.Great ???????? ???????????????? fish fillets.Good service.
Perfect Family run Fresh from the sea Made to order Delicious Affordable Cerviche, Pacifico, grilled shrimp, Yum! Can’t go wrong.
Must be a hidden gem ???? because neither the hotel staff or taxi driver knew about it. It’s located a few blocks inland from Malecon. It’s a small local seafood joint. I think the father and mother are the cooks and the daughters are waitresses….The owner brings in the daily catch. They have fish, shrimp, octopus, snail and lobster. I got the combo plate, octopus and shrimp with garlic. ???? It comes with garlic bread, rice, pickled cabbage and grilled veggies. Everything was so good, the shrimp and octopus were cooked perfectly. Tasted so tender and juicy. The garlic flavor was so simple yet tasty. The combo was $210 pesos and everything else is under 200 except the lobster was market price. We also tried the Stingray Machaca, it tasted like fish. I love this place! This place makes you feel like you’re a guest in a Mexican house and not in a restaurant, very chill and local vibes. Great local seafood that was a bit off the beaten path. This place is a must try in PV!More
It’s just really good food. Great portions, tasty and a cheap eat! Planning our next trip back! Mouth watering food!
This little place was a perfect stop for dinner after a long day. They close at 6pm so you have to be hungry early. Portion are generous at a reasonable price point. We had the shrimp cocktail and the garlic mai mai. We ended up…taking most of the shrimp home The staff are very friendly and lots of local families eating here. Great food and serviceMore
We’ve ate here several times in the past. The Diablo sauce is not near what it used to be 10 or 12 years ago. I don’t know if he used to make it homemade but it was not up to expectations this time. Still good.
A quaint, little local fish house off the touristy Malicon in Down Town Puerto Vallarta. It was just what we were looking for after a 90 minute couples message. Very fresh seafood and lots of locals coming and going. We had the grilled Mahi Mahi…and a delicious soup with shrimp, octopus, white fish in a light broth with diced cucumber, tomatoes… both perfecto!More
The service is very good. The wait staff is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I love the food, especially the shrimp and filet of fish “Al Diablo”. There are many more choices prepared in various ways, all delicious. I love the hometown atmosphere where the locals…go. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like well prepared seafood with a Mexican flavor.More
My wife and I went to dinner at the recommendation from a gentleman we met earlier in the day. He absolutely raved about it. We were not disappointed. Outstanding shrimp al ajillo and chilies. Also had the grilled octopus, which was so tender and flavourful….Michelada was delicious and you can’t beat the price. A real, family run gem!More
Great food with fresh food cooked right before your eyes. The portions are very generous and a great value.
Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was not happy. Service was marginal at best Wouldn’t go back.
Left the Malecon to try to find a little gem and did we ever. Service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. We each had shrimp dinners, very well prepared and presented. Coming from a landlocked area to the north, where half a dozen shrimp…is the limit we were amazed at the number served here. Also served one of the tastiest coleslaw we have ever had. And the price? Unbelievably low. A must eat place in PV but it’s tiny and fills up fast.More
We ate there last night. It is a small family restaurant on a small street. I had dorado and my husband had shrimp. The servings are generous. Each plate has vegetables, rice, and salad with a basket of garlic bread. Pretty good and tasty.
We were told of this mom and pop restaurant and decided to check out out. We found out that the family catches their own fish and serves it at the restaura to. I had the combination fish filet and shrimp—-the fish was excellent as was…the shrimp. At a very reasonable price.More
