This is always our first food stop on the Malecon. The perfect mango margarita with a tajin rim, and a side of aguachiles. The service is amazing, the view of the ocean is perfect. Don’t miss the chalkboard art in the back. You can relax…and enjoy your time in the shade with a perfect ocean breeze. When I visit Puerto Vallarta, I always try different places I find on my strolls through town. Found this several years ago, and it’s one of the few places that not only offers cafe de olla, but also refills. IMHO, their cafe de olla is…a little better that that of the restaurant of that name. I also had the breakfast molcajete- an experience! Arrived at the table bubbling hot, and stayed that way. Have to also commend waiter Christian. Efficent, friendly and attentive! One of the best in town!More
Honestly best meal ever. Fantastic service . Felt so welcomed . Had some yummy fajitas with flames was incredible. Everything tasted great beautiful building. Beautiful people . Acutally going back tonight for another meal before leaving Mexico x. Highly recommended super cheap too
Incredible fried whole,snapper! Delicious and what a gorgeous restaurant and it’s nice and cool inside! Beautiful view of the ocean right on the malecon! The sweetest people amazing service! Melissa and Mario were the best! Definitely don’t miss this gem
The food was disappointing. I wanted a sour drink so ordered a Mojito and they put way too much simple syrup in. Stonebowl was okay. Nothing exciting.
Started with table side prepared guacamole followed by a pork appetizer. Both were excellent. The white wine mahi mahi was extremely fresh and tasty. Margaritas are above average. Old fashion not so good. The service was superior and very attentive without being overbearing. Wait for…a the table in window, overall atmosphere in front is strong – rear of restaurant is not.More
Stopped in for breakfast. Delicious. And my waiter, Mario, was the best. Highly recommended. Everything was fresh and nice music with a view of the Malecon.
Just happened to stop by this little gem. We were so hot and just wanted to ditch the heat in some a/c. We were pleasantly surprised by some delicious cocktails, friendly staff, and great food. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
We were looking for good seafood and this place did not disappoint. I recommend La Mariscada all the way. It was simply delicious and it was the best red snapper I have tried. The shrimp was amazing as well and reminded us of by grandma’s…recipe. I definitely recommend this place and will be back for more!More
Location – very close to the “arches” of PV in the middle of old town Ambience- quaint touristy Mexican atmosphere Service – mostly friendly and efficient The food – our favorite were the appetizers. The guacamole was perhaps the best dish – prepared table side…with different mixings , it was super tasty . The shrimp ceviche was very tasty too . For main , I had the whole fried fish – the fish was quite fresh , but the fish meat a little dry. My partner had the fettuccine with shrimp – good but maybe not wow . Overall an enjoyable experience.More
One of my favorite restaurants in Vallarta. Have been dining here for at least 10 years. Have found everything thing to be excellent.
The restaurant has a great view which is a plus and our service was also decent. We had a window seat. The food was not to my liking. My guest had the snapper which he loved. I had the Molcajete Mixed. I took one bite…and couldn’t eat the rest. The drink I had was also very sweet and I couldn’t drink it. Overall I wasted money going here.More
I enjoyed the location and the food was good. My flank steak was cooked to perfection which is medium rare. The restaurant was clean and service good.
Every time we come to PV we stop in Mi Querencia! Friendly staff, no outside pressure sale to come in, quality food and service. Plus best Mango Margarita in town!
