The pancakes and waffles look fabulous! As a gluten free person I can only stare in amazement. Haha! The chilequiles are excellent. I went back and tried their hashbrowns and bacon, also delicious. The fresh fruit plates are wonderful. Good coffee. Lovely plant-filled garden atmosphere….A favorite spot for breakfast.More
Good and cheap food. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Practically from the owner to the hostess the service is preferential and racist. Orders are ignored plenty of times and they often forget things to bring to the table. The owner is known for protecting her staff at all…costs (including when the staff fails); waiters act with a pressure attitude towards the client for obtaining tips. And ultimately the hostess is rude and careless about the arriving clients. Beware. Avoid this place and chose instead Fredy’s Tucán.More
We go to the Pancake House at least once every time we go to Puerto Vallarta. We find the menu has a good combination of Mexican and American breakfast choices, and we have always enjoyed the food every time across both types of breakfast. The…restaurant is popular with both locals and tourists, which can lead to wait times, so get there earlier versus later!More
Crowded, hot, very noisy and slow service. We visit looking for an American breakfast. The experience was like eating your waffle in the middle of a iron foundry. There’s other options in town.
Great place to eat. Pancakes are great. Large portions. Bacon was not cook enough so they recorded and never complained. Constant coffee.
I wait 40min to get a table, they let ppl pass just because they where friends and make me wait more time, the lady at the entrance is useless, such a shame of the place and rest of the staff
Great service, food and atmosphere. The food was very tasty. Our server was very welcoming and very detailed when taking our order. The patio area is a gorgeous jungle where you can seat and enjoy the beautiful breakfast.
Solid place for breakfast. You can’t really go wrong with the options available, quality and the service was on point.
I have been to Memo’s Pancake House many times and eat there at least once if not several occasions when I visit PV. I have enjoyed breakfast or brunch with my family and friends over the years. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff very…attentive. The menu is outstanding with many items to choose from. I really enjoy their cheese blintzes and order both strawberries and apples served on top.More
We loved this spot for breakfast. The pancakes were delicious! The chorizo quesadilla was amazing. Service was a little slow but I would not say it was a bad thing. Very reasonably priced and would definitely come back.
We ate Breakfast at Memo’s eight times on our two week vacation. We seldom experienced more than a ten minute wait. Mask were mandatory while waiting with social distancing. The service was efficient with friendly staff. The portions were very generous so luckily we shared…a Pancake Sandwich served with two eggs, hashbrowns and bacon of your choice. Watermellon and banana slices, bread, butter and Jam as well. We liked the garden area whenever available. The host memorized my husbands name after three visits for the wait list. We will certainly come back on our next visit.More
We heard about the pancake house from some friends. The food was great. They bring out freshly toasted bread with a strawberry jam that tasted great with coffee. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. My wife and I both had the pancake sandwich. The service…was great. Don’t miss out on this great breakfast stop.More
I went there today with no expectations, the concierge was very good, got me seated very quickly, from then on everything went bad. 20 mins for a waiter, nearly 25 mins for food, I had to ask 4 times, and was ignored. I spoke to…2 managers both gave lame excuses, really busy which it was not, and my opinion didnt matter. t was my fault. of course. I would have left but my stomach was growling. food was very ordinary, they advertise fresh juice, straight out of a bottle. They get a big FAIL from me, There other places better. this is just MY opinion!!!!! I would avoid this place most definitely.More
It was so crowded on a weekday morning that I had to sit at the bar…which was OK b/c the lady who served me was super-sweet and attentive. I had a basic bacon and eggs plate with OJ and coffee, and it was all very…good…and reasonably priced.More
We returned after 2 years and it was better than we remembered. Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. The pancake sandwich included 2 generous pieces of chuleta and 2 very large pancakes. One of us substituted the natural pancakes for the orange…pancakes and they didn’t disappoint. They also did a great job on the chilaquiles. Can’t wait to return!More
