Overpriced with bad service, the food was uninspired, cold, and flat. The waitress couldn’t be bothered so we had to track her down to pay. $100 USD for a bottle of Modelo, one appetizer (calamari) that had been sent back, and a fish dinner of…unknown origin.More
We previously visited Blake’s a couple of years ago. We visited again in their new location at Port Magical. They have a lot more room and the food was great! We also enjoyed live music and had a beautiful view!
The service was good, but I was disappointed with the food. I wanted to order some Mexican Food off the menu, since I was in Mexico. The options were were very few and what I ordered wasn’t that flavorful. I ordered shrimp fajitas and beef…nachos. The primary vegetable in the fajitas were jicama, and my fajitas only had approximately 5 shrimp that were overcooked. The beef nachos okay, but only some of the cheese was melted.More
Very clean and modern sports bar. Location right next to cruise ship terminal with nice views. Friendly staff, if a little too quick to ask if you want another drink. Food was good. Prices were expensive compared to other bars. They have live music, and…the 2 guys playing when we were in, were very good.More
It took us a bit to find the new location (tour & cruise ship marina) but happy we did. It might be a new location but the food is still awesome. We go several times each vacation to have our favourites. Service can be a…little slow so don’t go when you’re in a rush. If you have time to spare it’s well worth the wait. PS. If you’re Canadian you have to order the poutine.More
I am disappointed totally with the response of the female owner when my wife very calmly let her know that no one in our party of 10 enjoyed their meal. Her response was to be very defensive and all she needed to do was express…regret that this occurred. That defensive response was most disappointing but the meal registers as the worst meal I have had, a statement agreed to by everyone in our party. Maybe there were no other complaints…maybe others will comment with their feet…a simple acceptance of the feedback may have lessened the disappointment. As a member of the Jay Sadler events committee I am even further disappointed especially after giving you an event that be fitted Blakes. I believe it would be better if you stayed with your standard fare.More
Blake’s was my local spot, close to my winter home in 2020. They have moved twice, trackef them down in there new location – took awhile! They are located in Puerto Magico, SECOND FLOOR, stairs and elevator in NE corner of complex. Great view of…the Port and a comfy patio. They still have local live music!!! Service, drinks, and food great! Amazing fresh bread with both herb butter & herb oil. I think the menu is expanded. I had coconut shrimp, served with rice and veggies, very good.More
Fantastic food and service. Best wings in town. Bakery on site makes for the freshest nread. CFL on the t.v. beautiful views too
Food was excellent and the Pina Coladas were so good. Thank You to our server Dana, chef Dante and Jacinto for making the absolute best drinks. Service and overall experience was great, as everyone went out of their way to provide the best dining experience…for our group of eight.More

Band was great. Ribs were terrible. Burned to a crisp. Tried to find a few bites to swallow. Was charged full price. Horrible money hungry owner and manager.
I’ve now visited Blake’s three times. The first time, I thought the enchiladas were very good. Maybe I was just very tired. The second time the food was terrible. We went again today because I thought the second time was just a fluke. The food…today (enchiladas again) was terrible, again. We both thought so. The couple behind us had the shrimp dinner and they thought it was terrible as well. Our enchiladas were barely warm and tasted terrible. The place was crowded. Service was horrible because they don’t hire enough waiting staff. Took forever to even have our order taken. The poor waiter was actually running between tables. I felt sorry for him. The food was overpriced for the quality. The band was good, but not worth going there again unless it’s just for drinks. Very disappointing, especially since it’s apparently run by a fellow Canadian.More

This restaurant was hopping when we entered. Live music playing and live spots action from Canada on the TV screens. We were welcomed and served with charm and efficiency by Jose. The kitchen team of Wicho, Ana, Jaciel and Aron prepared our tasty meal- shrimp…burrito and ribs. We felt at home amongst other Canadian guests and the whole vibe was one of friendship and good times. We only wish that we had come here sooner during our vacation so we could go back. You gotta eat here!!More
