Frankie’s was next door to where were staying and after a long travel day it was an easy stop for us. Service was good. The food wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t what I would call Italian either. Basically fairly flavorless tomato sauce on pasta. The…brusscetta tasted like garlic salt had been poured over it and was mearly inedible. The best thing I can say about Frankie’s is the staff were all very good looking.More
We were a group of five; we had pizza, chicken piccata, rigatoni with sausage and good old spaghetti with tomato sauce. It was excellent all around.
Having eaten Italian food my entire life in NY, I was so let down by this restaurant. My pasta was rubbery, cold, and without any flavors I know to be authentic. Service was average; not a place I will be returning to.
Most of my family had never been to this restaurant before, and they wanted to eat Italian food for dinner so I suggested this place. We all agreed this was a great choice since all of us loved our meals. For an appetizer, we ordered…the fried ravioli and breaded calamari. We all liked the ravioli which was stuffed with lots of cheese, but the calamari was just average. I ordered the pizza Capricciosa (ham, mushroom and black olives) which was quite large and could easily be shared. It could have used more sauce, but was still excellent. My wife had the Frutti di mare pasta (seafood spaghetti) which she would definitely order again. The family enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread that was brought to the table and even asked for more of it when our meal arrived. Service was very good.More
Very excited to take my husband here for eggplant parmesan. The bread was delicious with pesto. We had caprese salad and 2 meatballs for appetizer, again delicious. Main course, him eggplant parmesan, me lasagna, mine a pasta bowl with meat mushrooms and noodles, no bechamel…or ricotta, and had what I call sprinkle cheese on top, parmesan from Costco in a container. Very nondescript, my husband eggplant parmesan with salad a 5 ,not horrible but not the best. Will return for the Alfredo and linguine and clams to try. Dessert we ordered cheese cake which was frozen, advised waiter who laughed. Very nice ambiance and good service, disappointed ????More
Great little Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. Service very good and meals plentiful. The pizza was wonderful and large enough to share. We had pesto pasta, pepperoni pizza, spaghetti bolognese and frutti di mare with spaghetti. Upstairs is less crowded and a…great breeze at night.More
We really struggled to find a delicious pasta in authentic Alfredo sauce whilst in Mexico ( even chained international hotels and other international restaurant chains really struggled to deliver this dish). Until we visited this restaurant that is. Beautiful pasta in Alfredo sauce . The…bread in pesto sauce was to die for too . Genuinely impressed .More
I have eaten here many times, and it was good. Tonight, it was just not meant to be. I ordered the fried zucchini as an appetizer, which I have done many times before. Several tables around me arrived after I did. They all received pizzas,…lasagna, plates of pasta while I sat and waited. Once, the waiter stopped by, to tell me my food would be there soon. Still more waiting. When it finally arrived (after the man at the table next to me, who arrived after I did, had finished his lasagna and paid his bill), it consisted of FOUR slices of breaded zucchini. For $95 pesos. That’s about $1.20 US per slice. I have ordered this before, and it was a full plate of 10-12 slices. I decided to forego ordering the pizza I was planning to order, and went elsewhere to complete my dinner. I was nicely dressed, polite, and showered. Not sure why I was treated so poorly, but this year-round resident will NOT be back.More
Amazing and delicious food. Best Italian restaurant we’ve been to many months and in many cities. It doesn’t look like much of the outside but the food is delicious. Service was awesome and we will definitely come back

Four of us went to FSH for the first time and all of us loved our meal. The food, service and drinks were fantastic. Large food portions and very reasonable. We had 1 salad, 1 app, 3 glasses of wine, 2 beers, 1 cocktail, extra…bread and 4 huge entrees for about $90 USD. The lasagna, spaghetti (2) and the cheese ravioli were all wonderful. I recommend FSH to anyone in PV wanting pasta. We will return.More
Delicious food – the meatballs are fantastic! The bread and pesto oil is very good. The portions are very generous too. The service is excellent and prices are very fair.
A Must if you love Italian. The Best in town. Frankie makes his own Sausage to add to various dishes. Complimentary Pesto & Bread is Killer delicious. Great Prices. Great Service. AMAZING food..
A great value and local Italian restaurant in Zona Romantica. They even cook pasta al dente and their table bread was the best for the entire trip. Pricing is very affordable. Service was great. And leftovers are a given!
