We heard of this place from several locals who assured us it was the best restaurant in puerto Vallarta. Wife’s birthday night… The view is stunning but you will need a cab to get up there from the malacon. The service is very friendly and…pretty good. The red and white wine is bottom shelf but priced fairly. The food. Dear lord we had the Marco Polo surf and turf. The poor shrimp were stuffed, wrapped in smokey bacon and had no shimp taste left after the kitchen got done with them. The steak was of good quality but again was drenched in some sauce I didn’t recognize. The mashed potatoes were very good. The vegetables were lost in their own sea of another sauce You will spend about $100.00 US for 2. It is a splurge. The chef, in my opinion, needs to back off and let the ingredients do their own magicMore
A new-ish chef made Exceptional meals! We loved the “fat fish.” Mahi roll stuffed with seafood and topped with a creamy poblano sauce. Outstanding steak and lobster too. Marco is a fun waiter and Bety the hostess is great!! Gorgeous panoramic views. We’ll be back…soon!More
Staff was very nice and as it got cool in the evening they brought out blankets for the ladies. Food was alright but expensive including the 65 peso bottle of water… but the view is very nice
The sunset setting up the hill was spectacular. The food and service were very good. A dinner experience worth repeating. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant for a perfectly lovely evening!
What a night, doesn’t look like much from the front door but once you step out on the patio…WOW…what a view!!! Then…on to the food and service…definately will be back!
Our taxi driver recommended Ah Caramba for dinner, and we were so happy! Fabulous food , excellent service, and the margaritas were delicious too. The sunset was a sight to behold, and watching the Pirate Ship set off their fireworks made it extra special.
All I can stay is AWESOME! The ambiance, food and view are spectacular. Plan your visit and dinner to see the sunset. Highly recommend this establishment.
We were visiting Puerto Vallarta and asked a taxi driver to take us to the nicest restaurant with the BEST view. He took us to Ah Caramba where we enjoyed an absolutely fabulous view, sunset, a view of a whale in the ocean drinks, great…service and great music. A must go and see to believe the view!More
Five us were planning a nice restaurant adventure and settled on Ah Caramba. We had been there in 2020 and heard from folks around the pool that it was still a great restaurant with a spectacular view of sunsets and the city below. Yup, all…was fantastic — AGAIN! The cocktails were more than good: crafted excellence. Fajitas and fish dinners were large in quantity and so tasty! And, the service was super polite, attentive but not pushy. We enjoyed the entire experience. We made reservations a couple days ahead which got us a table for five out near the end of the dinning room floor; closest to the patio end so our view was outstanding.More
This place was just really fun to find as it was on top of a hill. Our cab driver didn’t even know where it was. The views are the best. We got served a drink pretty much as soon as we sat down and then…it took about an hour for them to come take our food order. So if you are in a rush,don’t come here. The food was fabulous, prawns in poblano sauce. They also had a wandering mariachi band if you like that sort of thing.More

This place is very good, the seafood here is very delicious, I recommend for everyone, the best service
This was our second visit. The first time the spectacular sunset made up for the overpriced mediocre food and the truly terrible musicians. The second time, add in rude, unattentive service and a large table of very loud and obnoxious diners (I know, not the…restaurant’s fault, but it’s still ruined our evening), and we will never return. There are so many better restaurants that we would not waste our time or money on this one.More
Service was great! Food absolutely delicious! Drinks also good! There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different. Every one of our dishes were excellent. A definite revisit place for us.
My daughters and I had a great night here. The view is fantastic. ! Food was good Service was good The band was so fun! All tables were singing and some were dancing! Nice and intimate setting. ( not too many tables or people) A…great experience. (Do not walk here … unless you’re an Olympic hill climber. ) lol.More
