Our Daddy-Daughter party ended up here on our first evening in PVR while we were walking the Malecon area! Daughter had light apps and I had the stuffed fish fillet. Fillet was very dry, overall enjoyable but was fresh! I may have been expecting too…much 🙂 Overall, very enjoyable dinner, decent food at a reasonable price! Will go again.More

Langostino’s is always great – year round! But on New Year’s Eve, it’s perfect: great food, tasty drinks, a fun crowd and the best views for people watching on the Malecon and the fireworks at midnight! Last year we even got to watch the mama…tortuga come up the beach to lay her eggs – a priceless experience. We won’t be in town this year for the big night, but you can bet we’ll be there for our first meal when we get down there in 2023!!More

So we decided to take some friends for a drink and snack to Langostinos. We’ve been before and enjoyed our time there. Well I realize places may be short staffed since Covid but we sat for 20 minutes and no service. We asked a waiter…and he said yeah yeah. Waited a tad more then decided to leave. As we’re leaving a waiter waves to us and sarcastically says ‘bye bye’??? Wow! Guess they have enough business without ours! Definitely other restaurants to visit!!!More

We absolutely loved the service here. We loved being able to sit up within the restaurant (and we didn’t even know about upstairs!). Because we were elevated, street vendors weren’t able to constantly interrupt our dining and the staff didn’t rush us at all. Their…glassware was incredible and worth mentioning because I’d like to buy it 🙂More

Visited here with friends Nov 27th 2022. Thoroughly enjoyed a few hours eating and drinking. The bit that spoilt it was being hassled to leave more tip than we were going to and the member of staff being rude and laughing. I know tips are…heavily relied upon but the manner in which we felt pressured to leave more was a let down to a lovely afternoon.More

A dinner on the beach, with outstanding service, incredible atmosphere and amazing food. We started with the coconut shrimp which was fried to perfection and gave us the perfect amount of coconut texture with a refreshing orange sauce. We moved on to the supersized fruit…daiquiris which were on point and an excellent way to cool off in the Mexican heat. Lastly for our entrees my girlfriend and I had the chile relleno and the pasta de mar. Easily two of the best meals I have ever tried in my life, with the freshest high quality ingredients you can taste in every bite . The place is an absolute 10/10 in my opinion and was the restaurant of choice for my girlfriend and I during our 7 day trip to Puerto Vallarta. Great value, Very attentive wait staff, and the perfect ambience for a delicious mealMore

This is my second time coming to Puerto Vallarta and I wanted to revisit Langostinos after having such a great experience a couple years back. They did not disappoint!!! Fantastic seafood pasta and shrimp ceviche, and the staff are just sooo friendly. Don’t know when…I’ll be back in PV again, but Langostinos will definitely be my first stop 🙂More

This is by far the worst My family and I have ever been treated. I would give it a zero if I could. Do not come here. The waiters are extremely disrespectful. They brought us the check and my mom left a tip. They came…back and said they needed more. We explained that we were running low on cash and plus the receipt says optional tip amount. The guys started yelling at us and told us that they don’t make as much money as we do. They just made an assumption that because we’re not from there we make a lot of money. we asked to talk to the manager to explain. The manager didn’t even bother to come talk to us. He just stood there and watched. The waiter came back and threw the tip at my mom and said keep your money. It was the most embarrassing thin ever. In the US you would have been fired for that. All the employees stared at us and talked behind our backs while we walked away. They acted like we didn’t pay for the bill. If you want a fix amount then maybe they should state that ahead of time instead of just assume. Plus we did tip not just the outrageous amount they wanted. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere l. Plus the food wasn’t that great it was very watered down.More

Langostinos is always our first stop (of many) when visiting PV. We have been visiting for years and have never had a bad experience or meal. Jorge is the BEST! He will make you feel like you are his best friend. The shrimp ceviche is so…good.  I don’t like ceviche, but I love it here.  The  spinach salad and coconut shrimp appetizer are a must.  Other favorites are the Pollo Elly, Chile Relleno, seafood pasta and the shrimp dinner.  It is a great place to start your day with breakfast on the beach and a mango margarita.  More

Horrible experience. First of all, you should know they force you to consume 400 pesos (which is okay and fairly easy if you come with friends or your couple) but that’s not the bad part. The reason why you should avoid this place is because…they practically force you to tip them the amount they want. They charge in small letters a really generous tip and then in bigger letters the total (so you don’t notice). The bill itself says tipping is optional and doesn’t even provide options; waiters just charge the amount they want into your bill like it’s obligatory. They also charge a commission if you pay with debit/credit cards. Service wasn’t as slow like many people commented (maybe I was lucky) but they’re racist. If you look American, you will get treated better but most likely also charged more. I’m Latina but I’m from the US. And let me tell you this: when you are bilingual, you notice all the racist things waiters say and do. AVOID THIS PLACE!More

I could only give it a 3 because after eating, I had a bad reaction that I only have when eating shell fish. I suspect my food was cooked in the same pan as shell fish had been cooked in. Otherwise, the food was very…good and the sunset view is amazing.More

Sunday, May 2, 2022: Th e fact you can swirl your toes in the sand while eating makes it a nice experience. The fried whole fish was prepared in the NOT SO COOKED tradition which meant it had to be done on the grill. It…was fresh but no spices whatsoever were added to the fish. The rice was a bit slimy ???? but maybe it was the way it was cooked and the veggies were fresh. The pasta marinara was taken home. At home next day and when warmed up I noticed it wasn’t ,made using the subtle butter announced in the menu but it had the stickiness of used car oil. I threw in the trash. It was this bad. Maybe some people don’t savor the food as I do….or maybe I use the best and freshest stuff when cooking at home……………….whatever….I can tell the difference. Best,More
