Breakfast with wife–Eggs Benedict & Ham/Swiss Omelet. Stopped in and were seated on patio of remodeled Dick’s. Nice ocean view with waves crashing and people watching. Coffee in Mexico is (in my opinion) inexplicably bad. DD’s was at above average–making it some of the best…I’ve had in PV. Wife had a shot of Bailey’s in hers so she found it wonderful. Also ordered bloody mary–(another thing that, IMO, is generally bad in Mexico). This one was pleasantly drinkable. Kind of a limey vodka/tomato drink with very mild spicing. Not a great bloody mary but not a bad drink. Wife’s omelette was VERY good. Eggs cooked to a perfect fluffiness and inside melted together. Eggs Benny were pretty average but very edible. View/facilty was top notch and service matched. A nice place to have a relaxing breakfast. $1600 pesos all in for the two of us so the value is meh–but we’re seeing that everywhere during high season in PV now.More

We were a party of 5 adults and 2 young children the waiters the food drinks ambiance were just superb thanks to all for a superb evening

Loved the ambiance! Dinner in the beach…great sunset….fresh fish with lemon beurre blanc amazing! Loved the watermelon salad!

The staff went over and above any expectation! We asked to sit in the shade and a waiter adjusted the umbrella when he saw the sun was moving our direction.

Don’t let the name fool you this is a quality dining experience that rivals anywhere! The octopus is divine, the aguachile refreshing and the onion rings will make you drool! Throw in some delicious drinks and dessert and you will thank me later! On top…of that though you won’t find better service anywhere. Friendly, attentive and seem to really enjoy their jobs and meeting new people! This is not some tourist trap where they just cycle through people and don’t pay attention…they enjoyed our experience as much as we did it seemed. Can’t wait to go back and try now of the menu!More

Fantastic vibe. Tables are on the beach so kick off your shoes, settle in and watch the sunset as you drink a delicious margarita. Do not let the kitschy name of the restaurant deter you. This is elegant but casual with great food. If you…like onion rings, do not hesitate – order them! Best ever. We liked it so much we went twice! Victor and Christian were top notch servers. Go!More

The name makes it seem like it’s a touristy, cheesy place. Don’t be fooled. Spectacular views. Great food. Incredible service especially Christian. Just a fantastic evening. Don’t miss it if you’re in PV.

The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was good. Good food too. The location was right by the beach and perfect for a nice relaxing day, enjoying the sun or swimming.

We came here and were greeted by a wonderful hostess. The menu was exceptional and we chose the lobster bisque and beef filet and chicken. The lobster bisque was truly amazing. It was the very best we ever had. The filet was perfectly cooked and…tender. The chicken in orange sauce was beautifully presented with mashed potatoes and baby squash. The chicken was tender and the sauce was the most delicious I have ever tasted. The servings were ample. The service was exemplary. The restaurant was full as was the beach tables but the service never waned. Perfect event by, perfect service and perfect food.More

We chose Daiquiri Dick’s based on its appearance, location on the beach and internet reviews. We were met and seated right away and in accordance with our wishes, ie very near, but not on the beach. So we had a great view of the sunset….Our server, Alfredo was professional in appearance, polite, attentive, amiable and quite knowledgeable regarding menu items. Our meals were quite tasty, I had birria beef shortribs with risotto and my wife had the catch of the day, sea bass. In all, a very good dining experience.More

Having been to Puerto Vallarta several times and eating at many restaurants in the area, I would rate our experience as way below par. The food was only average and the service about the same. The angus filet was rather tough and the graten potatoes…were at best somewhat warm. The creamy corn chowder didn’t have much taste but the captain crunch onion rings were tasty. Compared to all service for wait staff in Puerto Vallarta I could only rate this as a four out of ten.More

On this occasion it was our third time eating there in 2 weeks. This was for evening dinner. We stood at the entrance for a period of time before I finally went in and asked a waiter if we could have a table. He said…yes and we got seated. Just to note, every other restaurant have hosts/hostess’s that are begging people to enter their premises. We were given a drink menu and not a food menu. I requested a food menu as we were ready to eat. The waiter took our order. He asked if we wanted bottled water. I said no, that regular water is just fine. He advised me that they did not serve water and that we would have to buy bottled water. He no sooner poured our expensive bottled water and I see the tables around us getting water from a jug – just what I was refused. Just so everyone knows, there is nothing wrong with the water in Puerto Vallarta. You can drink it from the tap. We ordered a bottle of wine which took a long time to arrive. They maybe had to drive to Costco to pick it up? So the bottom line to all of this is that the service sucks, but the food was perfect. All three times we ate there the food was always top notch, the service not so much. The other two times we had breakfast. The one morning there were only three tables of customers and about 15 staff. They left us sitting too long before taking our order, while at least 3 staff were just hanging around using their cell phones.More

This restaurant is under new ownership, and we were hesitant to try it because we liked it as it was. Wow, were we surprised! Food and service were fantastic! My wife and I both had the garlic rigatoni, and it was divine. We practically liked…the bowl. The couple we ate with had shrimp and pork chop, and they loved it. Highly recommended!More
