I walk past this place all of the time and finally decided to check it out. Excellent customer service and great drinks and food. I also love how they have a bar with actual seats. Sounds weird, but you’d be surprised lol. I recommend the…taco salad. Delicious! ????More

Food and service were good, but I didn’t appreciate the fact they did not have a drink menu, and then billed us the most expensive drinks of our stay in PV (without being excessively good or large portions to justify those prices).

I eat fajitas quite often in Puerto Vallarta and this dish was really poor compared to the other restaurants in the city. The vegetables were cut very small and came in a very small quantity. When cooked they almost disappeared. I will not be returning….More

We decided to try 5 new restaurants we had not dined at previously. This was our least favorite. My dish was more like a pie with chicken inside. I did not finish it because it was lackluster. The waiter tried to explain what it was…before we ordered but we were still disappointed. Our friend had chicken fajitas & liked them while the 3 of us ordered the Chalupa.More

My go-to when in PV as always the staff treat the customers like VIP and go out of there way to make you happy. And make sure you have a great dinning experience. The manager Fernando Jr is very attentive and very outgoing and customer…oriented. The food is always hot and delicious and tasty. Thank youMore

We were staying at an all inclusive resort that was lacking in the Mexican cuisine. We were able to walk here and got seated immediately. All dietary restrictions were satisfied, and the drinks were delicious! There was so much food, everyone went home happy and…stuffed. 10/10 would recommend. Also a great vibe, on the river, with hanging lanternsMore

Fun upbeat restaurant with a prime location for people watching. The food was Outstanding! Garlic fish tacos and chips/homemade salsa. Service was also attentive, friendly and fast. I’d come back here daily!

It was closed during covid so glad to see it open again. The fajitas are always good there but let me tell you about the appetizers we got. We ordered guacamole and cheese sticks. First the guac order was large (order more chips for this)…and the cheese sticks came in a lava bowl with the sticks in a boiling green sauce of some type. We ended up putting it on everything. It is out of this world. We are older and have eaten a LOT Mexican food and this was the best sauce ever!!! The other three in the party agreed also.More

We ordered flaming fajitas and their “famous ribs”. The only exciting thing about the food was the flames that they ignite at the table side. Otherwise, the ribs were dry and tough, fajitas lacking seasoning and the great Mexican flavours. Looks like a very gimmicky…place to me.More

We spend every winter in Puerto Vallarta, and eat dinner out nearly every night. We’ve always stopped by Fajita Republic once or twice a season—when we were craving great fajitas—but we started going more regularly last year, when it was still a little slower than…normal in PV due to the pandemic. We met Santiago then who is a truly phenomenal server. He appears to care for all guests in a way we don’t often experience anywhere. The entire staff is truly exceptional (I do think the best in PV) and they welcome us graciously with a smile and a greeting each and every time we visit—very “Cheers”. The food is consistently delicious and affordable, the servers are incredibly attentive and friendly, and the location really can’t be beat (the foot traffic and local street performers are always always entertaining). We now come by two or three nights a week for an easy, delicious dinner. If you’re looking for great food on Basilio Badillo—with incredible, friendly service, Fajita Republic should not be missed.More

Another good meal at fair pricing. Great guacamole, wonderful garlic shrimp, huge chicken taco salad, and amazing fried ice cream ball. Two pounds of take-home. Excellent wait staff made dinning easy. Great food and drinks for three people around sixty dollars. Very spacious, open air,…clean.More

Really enjoyed our meal and more importantly service in this restaurant- waiters could not be nicer even if they tried . Very friendly welcome, service and offered plenty of advice. My veggie chimichanga was huuuuuuuuge ( wasn’t so keen on having a pineapple in there,…but it is a personal choice). Partner’s chicken fajitas were yum as he doesn’t like spicy food. If you do, ask the waiters to add some heat. Thanks so much Fajita Republic Team – amazing serviceMore

This place has so much potential to be amazing—- good location, great ambiance with nice lighting and reasonably priced options! I was so disappointed by our dining experience. We ordered a skinny strawberry margarita (we were only given a card on the table with five…drink choices although I did see people having other things). The drink was very bitter and sour like grapefruit and while I tried my best to drink it, I eventually sent it back but was still charged for it. We ordered the chicken and rib combo, and chose a baked potato as the side. While I wasn’t expecting anything fancy for the price point, the ribs had very little meat and the chicken was dry. Overall presentation is poor— for a few pesos more, some greens could be added to the plate to balance it out. We always walk by this place and see people eating fajitas which look amazing— but the restaurant promotes itself as a rib joint; this place has a bit of an identity crisis going on but as I’ve already mentioned, it has the potential to be great.More
