I literally waited for 20min until my coffee cup is refilled. Food was ok but after reminding the server to refill my coffee I still didn’t get anything
Delicious food. Fresh veggies, the spinach salad was fresh and good. The cilantro sauce on the shrimp was very unique. Save room for the Crème Bruele. Excellent service.
Nice spot on the marina. Waiters were great and so was the food! It is a great outdoor spot with during the heat of the day as it is shaded. They also have a good indoor seating as well.
Service: mid-joker, not very friendly waiters. Meal: My wife and me ordered a Filet Mignon. We both, do not like it bloody therefore ordered it medium-well. My wife’s was about 2/3 of the thickness of mine, needless to say, that while mine was perfect, slight…pink, hers was totally well done. Waiter never came past to ask how the food was…. at the very end when it was time to pay, he said: sorry. Conclusion: NOT a repeat.More
Food was over cooked and cold. Butter wouldn’t even melt a little on the baked potatoe. Ordered pica de guya to go because was good but container was only half full. The real insult though was the waiter? called us back from the street saying…we didn’t pay, when he realized he made a mistake he didn’t even apologize. Horrible experience.More
Maybe our mistake was going here on a night when the marina has booths and merchants (Thursday, I think . . .) Anyway, many restaurants were busy. We looked at the menu, it had standard fare for the area. It’s very attractive with lights and…tablecloths. We had to wait a bit just outside the steps. We then got a table for two right in front. The couple behind us in line got seated –granted it was very busy–and were waited on first. It was great for people watching, but as time went on we were constantly bombarded with vendors. This is annoying when you’re trying to eat your dinner and have somewhat of a conversation. The servers–we had several– were ok, nothing that would be of note. I had the garlic shrimp. I can make better at home. Wouldn’t you think that being on a marina that it would be outstanding? Maybe they’re just mailing it in. To be honest, I don’t even remember what my guy ordered—and neither does he! He doesn’t eat seafood (which is great for me if I have leftovers 🙂 so, I guess whatever he ordered , probably Mexican, wasn’t great.More
I just wanted to write a review to let anyone looking know that our server was sooooooo sick today. Coughing, sneezing, sweating, red eyes. He was ill. If I can help one person from going that is why I am writing this review. Take care.
Very average . Poor sauce in the chef special as in the pasta marinara. A pretty insipid guacamole. Slow service. Not the best lunch and on a par with the all-you-can-eat place 50 yards away.
My husband and I were walking by in July and decided to try this restaurant out . It was very hot and we were the only table on the patio. We were happy that we stopped in we had a great dinner with good service….We will be back in November and we will definitely stop back in for dinner or lunch.More
Got in easily with a group of 9 people. We needed to eat quickly to go to a turtle release nearby…. The food came quickly, and was delicious! We usually eat at a different restaurant nearby but they were full and decided to give this…place a try. Very good and reasonably priced!More
At the first view amazing. White linens comfy chairs. After all i realized why ot people don’t eat at this place. The menue isn’t special the ingredients are disgusting. The coffee horrible. Next time just for a drink.
We had 2 great experiences at Las Palomas Dorados, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both meals were delicious, and the service was impeccable. Of course we cannot forget the amazing view of the marina while you enjoy your food in full shade. Try…the ceviche and the strawberry margarita!More
I only do breakfast here so no experience with lunch or dinner. I gave it a 5 for breakfast because it is not busy when I go, get the best front table with view of the marina, the staff is professional, kind and low key…and the various egg options are just right for my taste. Cool little breakfast place with white table cloth.More
We have gone here over the years and never been disappointed. The service is tops, food good, portions very good, view is of the marina which is beautiful, and the prices are great. A no brainer.
We were staying at a nearby all-inclusive resort where the food is severely lacking, possibly due to covid. We ended up eating here 3-4 times! It was that good. Service Is very friendly and the prices can’t be beaten, especially for filet mignon.
