Nice quieter location at the end of the marina walk. Staff are friendly and easygoing. Good selection of Seafood dishes. Catch of the day was (of course) MahiMahi, “grilled” and stuffed with seafood. It was more poached than grilled IMHO. Fish tacos were good, but…not remarkable. Margaritas (2 for MX$199) were the best so far in our week here,More

Fabulous meal, great, friendly service. Best coconut shrimp in Puerto Vallarta! We will be back. Well worth the walk to the end of the Marina.

We had dinner there on two occasions and cocktails on another evening. We enjoyed all of our choices from the beet salad to the seafood stew and also the jicama tacos!! On another evening we had a couple different appetizers( I can’t remember the names…) we enjoyed them all! Our waiter also talked us into the flan and even though I’m not a big dessert person I thought it was really good !! Also the bartender I believe Mario makes an amazing margarita!!! I enjoyed their special house tequila!! I look forward to more meals on our May trip!!More

We’ve dined twice at Splash on our short vacation. Their food is flavorful and unique. We had delicious tender octopus, shrimp and fish. They have interesting appetizers and cocktails. Service is wonderful and the decor is inviting and fun. Great addition to the Marina dining…scene!More

Lousy food. Ordered the roasted beet salad, the beets were raw and indelible. The clam chowder had barely one chopped clam in it. It was mostly cream. The seafood chowder was so so.

This restaurant is a nice addition to Marina Vallarta. There is a nice selection of food on the menu. The jicama taco with shrimp on too is a particular hit. Service is friendly

We had high hopes for this place. Beautiful location and interesting menu. We ordered the seafood molcajete for two, chicken with huitlacoche, mahi mahi and pasta Alfredo for the kids. The molcajete was dead cold, with rubbery octopus, overcooked langostino and cold meat. The huitlacoche…chicken was terribly overcooked. We sent the molcajete and chicken back to the kitchen and they did a better job the second time around, but I couldn’t believe they’d served that in the first place. Turns out the table next to us had ordered two molcajetes that were just as bad and regretted not sending them back. No concessions were made on the bill, either. There are much better options with better food and value within easy walking distance.More

Splash was not a hit tonight! We ordered the mochajete for two and it was absolutely horrible. We’ve been ordering this dish forever and love it. We also recommended it to our friends. The meat was dry and overly salted so much that my cheeks…and lips feel weird. There was no octopus as indicated on the menu and the shrimp was minuscule. There was no sauce. The dry leathery meat was in the machajete and there was no sauce. Usually served with tortillas and pica de gallo there was nothing with this meal. We asked for the octopus and some tortillas but they didn’t come. The table of 6 next to ours ordered it as well and sent it back to the kitchen. They were smarter than we were!More

We have been in the Marina for a few months, always walked by ! We decided to drop in for the happy hour 2×1 drinks ! Like wow the margaritas are amazing and not to be missed ! Premium all the way ! The table…beside us ordered the coconut shrimp and I was extremely jealous! So we got the server ( amazing service also) what the dish was and to my best imagination it was coconut shrimp ! The presentation of the dish was the best! The shrimp was prepared with amazing culinary skills ! The taste: melted in our mouths! On our way out the owner thanked us for visiting! This place is an awesome ???? hidden Jem that you must visit! It’s at the end of the marina and you will be delighted and surprised!More

Had a mahi-mahi fish with a tamarindo glaze. That is how it was described but it wasn’t a glaze as it was smothered in a soupy tamarindo sauce. Was unable to enjoy the taste of the mahi-mahi fish. I felt it was over priced for…the size of portion. I’m a senior lady And don’t often complain about small portions. At least never in Mexico. I left hungry and had to stop and get more food. My husband had a hamburger and he said it tasted well enough but it wasn’t as large as other locations in marina. A well drink was $140 peso and that was using shelf tequila. Too overpriced compared to other restaurants in the marina area. We paid $800 pesos for a meal that left us hungry and unhappy. I gave 2 stars for the presentation of the food. Excellent presentation is what drew us in from what we saw. Will not return as the food is not of the calibre for the presentation or price.More

Mostly outdoor seating. Typical Vallartan fish menu – ceviche, shrimp and octopus tacos and grilled fish and fried. They have cocktails made with Racilla – a locally produced type of tequila.

When one arrives at the main pedestrian entrance, the natural thought is to turn left, not sure why. To the left just looks livelier. To turn to the right at first glance it looks like there is not much going on that way. It is…a dead end at private residences. However, if you go right instead of left you will come upon this wonderful little Mexican restaurant. This is the 1st place we dined at upon arriving in PV. We had dinner here on 12/29/21. The dining area is open air, nice tables with comfy round chairs. Very nice view looking out over the marina. We soon found out that no one working here speaks English and our Spanish was not that good. There were 4 of us and the other couple wanted “bottled water”. The server brought out a pitcher of tap water, but they claimed that it was filtered. I was okay with it. My wife and I ordered a bottle of dry red wine, the server brought out a bottle of white wine in a bucket of ice. No, no no, we pointed to another table where they had a glass of red wine. It took awhile but we finally got through that we wanted a full bottle, red wine, not chilled. Then the server had great difficulty pulling the cork and destroying the cork in the process. All was okay though, I ordered the Arroz al a Tumbada (Mexican Paella Pre-Hispanic). It arrived in a crock pot with a cover. Very good with 3 types of seafood (including octopus) and chicken with rice. As we were dining, a troupe of acrobats came and performed in front of us. When we finished eating, the bartender came over and asked if we wanted some tequila – free shots! Yes of course, a great way to end the meal. Even with the minor problems we had a great time dining here. Highly recommended.More
