Friendly staff. Always delicious. Good location. We winter in Puerto Vallarta…and this is our favorite moderately priced restaurant
I actually ate here twice during a 1 week stay in PV, the service was great and in the evening htey have an older man playng piano and it’s just fantastic. I have to go on record, as a Bruschetta lover and say what I…ate here(twice) was amongst the best I have ever tried – just splendid. I was slightly disappoitned with the pizza I had, which I tried the 2nd time – in case the first time was just a bad night. But it’s not great at all, it actually reminds me of a store bought pizza in the oven at home – it just looks identical and tastes like that. Staff were fantastic, service very quick and never intrusive. Will definteily go back, maybe next time I’ll have pasta….More
We found this spot during a crazy busy weekend with crowds everywhere and long lines. For whatever reason it was not too busy and we got a table quickly. We noted there were only 2 young men serving, busing and hosting and it appeared to…be only one lady cooking. They served with smiles, quickly and handled things beautifully. The food was very good and compareable to many of the more upscale Italian restaurants in the area. We will return again on our trip next year.More
The penne gorgonzola is to die for!!! So so good as is the Alfredo and lasagna. Not to be missed!!! Prices are very reasonable and service excellent.
This unassuming restaurant has been part of the Romantic Zone for as long as I can remember. The team that works here seems genuinely happy to be here, the food is great and is a nice change when you’re tipped out an fajitas! A great…spot!!!More
With two children, we were always looking for a restaurant that wasn’t Mexican in this tourist town. La Pizza Nostra never disappointed us. We are here three times in the month we stayed here. During off season, it is not especially crowded. Each dining experience…we were greeted warmly and well taken care of by our server. Pizzas are delicious, but tonight my other half tried the spaghetti. It was spicy and cooked to perfection. I even had to try some! A family of 4 can dine comfortably for $25 American dollars. Fantastic!More
The family wanted a night of non traditional dinner- pizza was hot tasty and very well priced- the triple cheese special was amazing and the regular pizza was tasty and perfectly cooked
Great Pizza and Service at a Pizza/Italian in Vallarta! I highly recommend this Restaurant.We are here often and really enjoyed the food and staff! Very friendly and great pizza!
This joint was a quick walk from our condo. Thin crust, got the 4 meat, but I think we only got 3, lol. The exchange for USD is $17 not the current rate of $21. Pizza was nothing spectacular but I think it was because…of the exchange rate which was the lowest we encountered Oct 18th, 2020. Didn’t want to use credit card.More
One of several pizza eateries in the area. We were looking for a quick and easy meal. We chose La Pizza Nostra for its small size and open air patio. The piano player was an added bonus. We chose the Vallarta Stili. A thin crust…cheese, shrimp and pineapple was quickly prepared, deliver hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly and ensured our pizza was enjoyed. Add a glass of wine and the meal complete. We returned a couple of nights later for a repeat performance. Very nice experiences.More
We stopped by this restaurant for a 10:00 pm snack. The only positive part of our experience was the piano player but he was on a long break for much of the time. We ordered a 4 meat pizza which arrived with a crust that…was properly cooked on the edge but under done in the centre. The pizza had a minimal amount of cheese and meat and was very bland. We asked for a bit of Parmesan to enhance the taste and we were told that there would be an extra charge. We found that unusual and we declined. When we received our bill I politely asked the waiter to let management know that we have never experienced an extra charge for a bit of Parmesan and we thought they should change their policy. The waiter’s snarky response was ‘well you ate it didn’t you?’ There are so many good choices in restaurants nearby that we will never return to Pizza Nostra. Mediocre food and rude serviceMore
Nice location and ambience with friendly service, but that’s the good part. The corn soup was ok but lacked seasoning, and unfortunately the rest of the meal was poor – small portions, a bland salad and an overcooked, mediocre pizza. Prices are relatively high.
Wondering around and not sure what I wanted to eat I stopped in here. Glad I did!!! I was a solo traveler and the place was crowded, which is a really good sign. As, I was alone, it took a minute to find me a…seat, which I totally understood but not an issue because, face it, I am on vacation. I was greeted warmly and seated. I started off with an Iced Tea and prodeeded to have an amazing dinner. A little expensive, for me, as I am a budget traveler but well worth the cost. Chicken with Spinach as the main course and an antipasta started. Ok, it was too much food for me, but I managed to eat it all, along with the bread that was presented first. Great Place, Great Food and Great People.More
Deceptively good. Often not busy; the nights we hav3 been there featured good, live piano music. Very good staff.
best place to get pizza and other italian food on Olas Atlas St, been eating there for over 10 years, great service
