i love this place!! absolutely delicious empanadas and very nice and friendly staff. i came here almost daily for some quick empanadas. you have to visit you won’t regret it!!
The savory empanada (Chipotle)we had tasted like it was made yesterday. It was room temperature and very dry. No sauces were even offered and I usually wouldn’t even use a sauce on an empanada but it was so dry it was kind of necessary (…1 star for the savory). The sweet one( vanilla) was good but also room temperature (4 star). The cashier seemed more interested in texting than taking our order (2 star). There are better options for empanadas about anywhere you go in the romantic zone.More
Everything was so delicious! Ordered a salmon and a champignon empanadas and a guayaba water so recommended! And the people so nice! Still have to go back to try some desserts
These empanadas are the real deal and delicious! I had the beef which are the more traditional Argentinian and they did not disappoint – lovely dough that is not too heavy and cooked perfectly, and the filling was really tasty. I highly recommend a stop…here. I will definitely be back for more.More
We had the chipotle and ground beef and spinach and cheese. The Chimichurri sauce was so delicious and our favorite of the 3 we were served. We couldn’t decide which sweet empanada to try after we ate and the sweet young man working there gave…us an extra one for free. Worth a stop. Minimal seating inside but they are easy to grab and go.More

Che Vallarta is definitely delicious from the first bite to the last. The small and quaint restaurant is a well kept secret neighborhood finds you want to tell everyone one about but fear it’s wild success will spoil the quality, accessibility and charm. Che Vallarta…is great for a quick bite, or home delivery via Uber Eats. Take out is recommended. The restaurant has two bistro tables and comfortably seats two couples. I tried the beef empanadas which were great and I ordered another round. There are several flavors I’ll be back to try, including some wonderful fruit pies.More
Small place close to the Malecon in the Centro area. Delicious empanadas – traditional Argentinian full meat, but also vegetarian options. Nice selection of yummy desserts, too!
I was walking around and spotted this gem. I got some empanadas take away along with some alfajores (Argentinian ding dongs but much better) and they were so delish I came back 30 minutes later got more!

Awesome selection of empanadas; great to grab a few if you are on the run or want to have something on hand for a late night snack or breakfast the next day. On our most recent visit, I had a salad also and it did…not disappoint! We frequent this place when we visit.More

Very tasty empanada place in Puerto Vallarta. There are many different ingredient combination including savory and sweet… and they are all tasty. The staff is super friendly too! It was a nice opportunity to take a break from Mexican food. Highly recommend you swing by.

Incredible selection of delicious empanadas including both vegetarian and dessert options! I had one with spinach, corn and cheese. My partner had one with chipotle. We honestly wished we were hungrier because we wanted to try them all! And also wished we were in Puerto…Vallarta longer so we could come back to this spot. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this spot whether you are looking for a snack or for a meal (there are also lots of combo options)!More

My girlfriend and I spent the day walking around the Centro area and came across this place for an afternoon snack. The staff was very friendly and they had many different types of empanadas that all sounded so good! The size of the empanadas are…a good snack size and the price you pay is good. We enjoyed splitting two different empanadas before going out for the evening; perfect pre-partying snack. Staff was very friendly and the empanadas very tasty. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Highly recommend. We tried a few empanada places in Puerto Vallarta but this one is by far the most satisfying. Beautiful depth of flavour, the pastry is light and complements the filling perfectly. I loved the empanada Rajas con Queso. Super friendly service, thanks so…much.More
