Went for their 2 for 1 ribs, served Monday through Friday from 2-4, 359 pesos. Fries were so so, but ribs were good. Good service and good Mango Margarita.
Hated to see them close the down town location. With the growth and their location, it is hard to believe that they could not clean up and be full a lot of the time. This location is at the Marina. The ribs were OK, but…could have been boiled longer to make them fall of the bone. They fell off, just not all the way. Disappointed that they did not have draft beers as they did down town. They only sold bottles. They advertised taking credit cards, but only for certain meals. We use cash anyway, but it is strange that they would advertise credit cards and then the waitress would notify you on on certain meals. We saw teh waitress once to take the order and then it was someone else and the manager.More
For those of you who remember El Torito in Puerto Vallarta near Los Muertos beach it’s now in Vallarta Marina. Ribs cooked to perfection with their signature sauce. AND two for one is back. Lots of TV’s, friendly staff. Food was expensive for what you get. We had nachos… One layer of chips with cheese and a little refried beans. Very chintzy for nachos.
Have always gone downtown to PV to have Ribs, the last 2 years we came to like the the marina branch along with the owners relative as Manager, really nice to see a friendly face that acknowledged us. Yesterday we decided to have lunch, no…more specials, no familiar faces, one server in his 20’s if that and a young woman behind the bar. Not a soul in the restaurant ordered drinks, checked a very plain menu, not like the old colourful one. Decided not to take a chance, we left never to return unfortunately.More
Great food, very very slow getting food to us, was not crowded, waiter was very apologetic! Will give them another try.
El Torito has two locations in Puerto Vallarta. One is downtown and the other is in the Marina. We went to the less crowded one in Marina. Every Tuesday, between 2:00 PM and 4:PM, the have the rib dinner at a two for one price….It’s a deal that’s really hard to beat.More
Our first time at this restaurant. We ordered chicken and ribs. The chicken was rubbery. Both the chicken and ribs were drowning in sauce. There are better BBQ and Sports Bars in Puerto Vallarta to visit.
We had their Rib special and coconut shrimp. Really good. Who thought of Mexico for BBQ ribs. Well they were great and so was the shrimp. Well recommended.
We like the 2 for 1 ribs that is offered during the week. The ribs and sauce are very good. The Coronas are nice and cold
Great Nachos with arrachera, amazing wings, and delicious drinks. They service is always amazing. The staff bends over backwards to make the patrons happy. Very accommodating for us as we always show up on Sunday to watch football with our 2 dogs. We sit on…the patio as dogs are not allowed inside. They always bring water for the dogs and give them love. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. The new location in Nuevo Vallarta is close to our house and very convenient. If you’re looking for a game to watch, a cold beer and great service… This is your place.More
Worst fajitas we have ever had. I hear the ribs are good. Beer a bit overpriced. Service ok. Good for sports.
Stopped in with my wife for a quick drink after a long day. Drinks were great at good prices. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgable of the area. Lots of choices in the Marina..we found a new nice option.
There were six ppl in the restaurant when I went. Five of them worked there. The music was extraordinarily loud, so I left. It is often cranked up. I went next door to Mamusa, which is the same atmosphere but with tolerant music and NFL…package.More
We have actually visited this restaurant three times in the last two weeks. We went with our grown kids when they were here a week ago and had breakfast. We all loved it so much we went a few days later for an early dinner…and had the ribs. Then my husband and I were there a couple of days ago for the barbecue chicken. Everything was excellent. We will be coming back again for sure.More
