Amazing view and even better food and drinks. The staff were attentive and friendly, even took a photo of us outside of the restaurant. We went here twice during our stay and can’t wait to go back on our next visit!
Great food loves the seating. It was a lot of fun service was fast and super friendly. Very nice breeze on the top area. The squid was amazing.
Sat right on the beach under the shade of an umbrella, Margaritas were the best we had in Puerto Vallarta (wife was feeling it after just one), prices were cheap especially considering the location, and food was fantastic. We ate at 5 different beach restaurants…and bars (including the famous Blue Shrimp and El Dorado) and this was by far our favorite.More
Very good food and service, we go here a lot, but beware, we experienced them taking the tip out of our change without telling us, if you don’t notice, you might tip again and not even know! Don’t appreciate that at any establishment, just make…sure you get the right change back.More
Have visited this restaurant a few times and have had a good experience each and ever time. We have sat on the top with a great view and on the Beach in the sand and it has not disappointed.
I love writing 5 star reviews, this isn’t one….but 4 stars is not too bad and this place certainly is not less than 4 and 5 from some people would not at all surprise me. Sure a margarita might be 70 pesos, but heck it’s…right on the friggin beach, makes it well worth the 70. Get the aguachile and enjoy. I’ve taken a whole crew of people and had plenty to eat and even more to drink and spent maybe 100 bones. If you wanna sit right on the beach in old town and have dinner and a sunset I think this is the place to do it.More
I’ve walked by this location dozens of times but this time some friends brought me to check it out. We only have cold beverages this visit but the others I was with had good things to say about the food. This dishes we saw being…served certainly looked great. The staff was very friendly and provided good service. We went upstairs to check out the view. The circular staircase was fun and beautiful. Once upstairs the view of the beach and bay was fantastic. It was spectacular as the sun set. It’s a great little place to get a bite to eat and have a cold beverage while watching the sun go down.More
I was out looking for some inexpensive but good fish tacos done up “Baja” style. This place just wasn’t happening. The fish was just average, the coleslaw must have been out of a can, and the tortillas were crisped on a flattop. Not worth the…$8 for 3 tacos, but hey, the beer was cold and the view was superb.More
We just got back from a perfect day in Old Town Puerto Vallarta! On a Disney Cruise and decided to go to Old Town. What a great day! Taxi ride was like being back in Rome LOL! Crazy drives. Spent the day walking the Old…Town sea side prominent. The weather was perfect the day was one we will always remember. By far Puerto Vallarta was our favorite port call. Looked at lots of restaurants before we decided on Las Langosta Loca. It was right on the beach and we choose to sit in the upstairs area. Magnificent!!! The view, the ocean breeze flowing across our faces. It was a perfect location. I ordered the crazy fish and my wife ordered the lobster. Both dished where fantastic!! The Margaritas were great also! The service outstanding. If you are in Puerto Vallarta Old Town you got to go to this place. What a wonder memory to share with the one you love!More
Nice early afternoon visit to this place. Exceeded our expectations. 6 cold beer for 150 pesos. Very good appetizers.
Got thirsty walking from el malecon and decided to drink a beer and have a “snack”… I ended up getting full lunch and a couple of beers with a “cielo rojo” (michelada with tomato juice) I enjoyed my shrimp cocktail along with the views very…much. Attentive servers and I found the prices pretty decent. If given the chance would try again and eat something from the grill.More
Another great spot where you can sit on the beach or upstairs inside. I had an excellent prawn cocktail. Service was great. Will definitely visit again.
A bucket of beer for 150 pesos, a great beachfront location and delicious chicken fahitas makes this a great lunch spot. Service is very good and many people come for the grilled lobster at 420 pesos. ( $20 US ).
Stopped in as the bucket of beer caught our attention. Table on the beach. Listened to the waves. I ordered mussels and they were excellent, my friends ordered larger meals. Very good service, good value for food, food was tasty. Rather be here eating than…an expensive restaurant not on the beach. The chairs were a patio plastic chair and small table. Bathrooms were small but worked. Its Mexico. Enjoy.More
Very nice location on the beach, unfortunately the rest does not match. First, ordered a water without ice (I repeated it twice), I got a glass filled with ice. On the menu they offer a dozen oysters for 150 pesos, Without any comment they served…6 oysters. I asked why and they answered: “the oysters are bigger than usual”. I told them, it what have been nice if they would have mentioned it before. Actual, there were are few bigger oysters than normal, but some were small, so it was just the average serving. For there defence, the served us then the other six oysters. The seafood soup is mediocre, the grilled red snapper (my husband had ordered another , a slightly cheaper fish, but was too annoyed to to make another complain and just ate it), was good. Too many small “mistakes” and some rude waiters don’t make the place a pleasant expierence. Warning: If you pay with credit card, it is like you pull money from an ATM with all the extra charges.More
