Got food poisoning from the bulgogi tacos. Wrote a google review and owner responded accusing me of slandering their business because of some issue he had with my friend. Assumed that I was my friend. Guess he got confused because we were both Asian. Racist…and lying store owner. Please don’t go here.More
Food was great. Cheapest beers we had at 30 pesos. Lots of craft beer to choose from. Will definitely be back on our next trip.
Went up to Mama Caguamas Sunday. We had tacos and beer there a couple of nights ago and met the owner Sean. Very nice man. The food, beer, and service were very good. A better selection of beer than most places. I arrived at the…very end of the Bills game (I have to assume Sean is a Bills fan as there is a big Bills flag hanging behind the bar.) and Sean was kind enough to put the Broncos/Chiefs game on after. I’m a glutton for punishment as I’m a Broncos fan. Fortunately a Niner’s fan showed up and asked if I would mind changing the channel. It wasn’t hard to disagree as the bloodbath in Denver had started and it was already 13-zip Chiefs and it wasn’t even halftime. Very friendly and attentive staff, nice location at the north east corner of parque Hidalgo in 5D. I’ll be back!More
We stopped here for a drink and ended up staying for a few and coming back the next night. Great vibe with really friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. Worth the stop.
This darling little place caught my eye and we had to go in. Not many places in the area have great local beer and so I was delighted to find so many tasty choices! The food was really great too! I had a super shrimp…burrito! The fresh salsas and homeade chips were so good! Wish I would have found this place sooner!!More
In the 6 weeks we’ve been in PV this place has become like Cheers for us. A friendly place to grab a drink and a bite, sometimes take in live music, and get to know many folks from all over eho are now living full…or part time in PV. The staff are wonderful people and it feels like home to us now.More
We’ve been here several times in the past month and each time we’ve enjoyed it. Once it started to rain hard and the staff very kindly moved us inside. We’ve enjoyed drink and we love the smoked marlin burrito there! The sweet potato fries are…also vry good.More
We’ve been here a few times and it’s been ok? Tonight however was a different story. We’d called at lunch to ask if they had Chardonnay for my wife. We presume it was the owner who said they didn’t but he’d get some……any particular brand?…Just a decent one we replied. We turned up at 5.30pm, no boss, no Chardonnay so my Mrs just had a red wine. The boss came back and told us he hadn’t bothered getting any Chardonnay??? We ordered food and it took 50 minutes to arrive…….and we were the only people in! It wasn’t what we ordered at all but we’re English and generally don’t complain! My wife ordered ceviche and got a cocktail? Nobody could be bothered, terrible service, terrible cocktail that should have been Ceviche. First time in 6 months we haven’t left a tip anywhere? I just got the impression the Canadian owner didn’t like the British. We won’t be going back despite renting an apartment practically on the next block. Give this a miss is my advice.More
What a cool little place! My husband and I just moved up the hill and before our long trek back up, we finally stopped at this little place we keep eying up. We were warmly greeted by the lovely David. What a nice young man,…so friendly and he makes a FANTASTIC lime margarita. We had already eaten, but we will be back Wednesday for the live music, margaritas and to enjoy some of the great menu items. The music was awesome, the restaurant and bathroom so clean. Such a neat place.More
So glad we came here. DELICIOUS tacos, a great beer selection, and cool welcoming vibes. We are the gringo tacos and all pastor. Great salsas too. Loved them all. Enjoy!
This is the ultimate restaurant/bar in Puerto Vallarta. It’s located “off the touristy Malecon”. And has a very neighborhoodie vibe, definitely more relaxing for locals. My friends & I highly recommend their menu, it’s simple yet elegant. If/when there’s “karaoke night”, you must join. As…we all need a bit of melody in our lives…More
This is a small and wonderful find. Great food all around. Great handmade pizza and cocktails and more. We ate in and we also did carryout. Sean is the owner and is very friendly and accommodating and helpful. A great local cafe/bar and family/friends atmosphere.
The little corner bar is advertised as beer and tacos but it is much more. They have an amazing variety of beer, liquor drinks and soft drinks. The menu is more than tacos! We stopped in to take a rest and cold drink while exploring…town and markets and heard some American rock and roll music. We took a table on the sidewalk and watched traffic. The staff are super friendly and eager to share local information WITHOUT selling you a timeshare!! Such a good rest spot. Tks Sean and staff.More
