This is a great little quesadilla shop, literally a hole in the wall. Delicious quesadillas prepared before your eyes with homemade tortillas by friendly employees, all for a really great price. Lots of fun, definitely worth stopping in. I go every time I’m in PVR.
I had a chorizo quesadilla. Tortillas are made fresh for each order and then grilled while you wait. The accompanying sauces are very tasty, and service is friendly. Can’t wait to go back and get a Poblano quesadilla, they were out the evening I went.
We were out shopping and looking for a place to eat lunch. The menu is simple with quesadillas and sopas. Amazing, amazing food. Tortillas made while you wait. Friendly staff. A highlight of our trip so far. Would go back again if time permits.
Oh, I love this place. They have a great menu and are not at all expensive. The tortillas are hand made on the spot. I don’t eat meat, so I enjoy their quesadilla solo queso. But my meat eating friends swear by the rest of…the menu. I must warn you, if you eat at Las Quekas once, you will eat there again. Tell the lady Rico Suave sent you, and you will get a big smile.More

This place used to have good and cheap quesadillas. Now they serve huge, nearly empty tortillas. It’s neither a good meal nor a good value. Avoid until they maybe get back to where they used to be.
this place was located just down the street from our hotel (Hotel Belmar) and we went in for dinner after arriving in PV. it was perfect! Three wonderful Mexican women bantering back and forth with soaps playing on the tv in the background, while our…chosen quesadillas are prepared fresh on a hot grill. I loved watching the fresh corn tortillas being made by hand and then filled with delicious options such as asada (beef), papas con chorizo (potatoes with chorizo) or Rajas poblanos (pickled green peppers with cream). I cannot recommend this place enough!!!More
Fantastic quesadillas stuffed with your choice of beef, port, chicken, cheese. Made in front of you on a grill. The tortillas are absolutely the best. Very inexpensive.
If I am not mistaken, I believe this is a chain. My husband and I have been there twice,and have really enjoyed the food. It is street type food, masa tortillas, made fresh and filled right in front of you. Each is cooked on a…huge Comal that turns. There is a couple of tables, and a counter for sitting. It is small and sort of dingy,but this is setup for locals, not so much for tourists. We had the potatoes and chorizo filling…YUM! Simplicity that is soo good. Cheap fare, great for a mid afternoon snack or light lunch!More
I love the concept: three women running a business each with specific, but well-defined roles to serve. It makes for delicious symmetry. The first woman is at the register and she takes you order – they specialize in quesadillas and sopes. She passes your order…onto the second woman who breaks off a piece of fresh masa and forms, makes, and cooks your tortilla while the third woman oversees the fillings and finishes the cooking process for each order. When the quesadilla is done, she brings it over to you and you can sauce it to your liking. They have many fillings to choose from, among my favorites are chorizo and potato and chiles with crema. A word to the wise: go during the day when these three women are working. At night when the personnel changes for the evening eaters, the tortillas are all premade and the cook often overcooks them so that they come out dry – Also, be careful with he fillings you choose at night -if they are out of or nearly out of an ingredient, they don’t tell you but you are still charged for a smaller to barely existent filling. (My last quesadilla was all potato, no chorizo).. Best to go during the day. Quesadillas are only $1.20 to a $1.50 a pieceMore
