We were directed here by the staff at Il Patron who wouldn’t serve us as we arrived at 7:34 pm. The website said they closed at 8 but they said the kitchen closed at 7:30 and wouldn’t budge. Well, their loss, our gain. Kashi Sushi…is a find. Very fresh, beautifully presented, innovative. We ordered quite a bit of food for the 4 of us and the bill came to $47. Amazing experience at any price but at this price, unreal! Victor spoke excellent English and was very attentive.More
Kashi Sushi has become a favourite place to eat when in PV. There is a great selection and, so far, we have enjoyed everything we have tried. The food is always fresh. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. We happily recommend it to…our friends.More
We had 4 orders and there was ample for the four of us. The food was fresh and delicious. Prices are really reasonable. This has become our go to place for sushi in Puerto Vallarta. We will definitely return!
Excellent sushi and various Asian and Japanese dishes. Moderate prices And excellent service. I eat here about once every 2 weeks. Yo me it’s the best sushi for a reasonable price in all of Vallarta. Delivery service also
Small restaurant with a big tasty menu. Off the main road Francisco Medina Ascencion across from Sheraton Buganvillias. Across from the soccer field and street vendors. Definitely on our Go To Restaurant when we have a yen for sushi.
Just stopped in for lunch. No Gyoza on the menu but the chef made some up for us anyways. Super fresh and flavourfull. Will come back
Two of us dined. Miso soup with mushrooms? in it and very salty—- not just miso/umami salty. Too much. Firm tofu not silken. We got four rolls. The rice is horrible—sticky. The fish just ok. This was equivalent to the worst supermarket sushi in the…States. Save your money.More
Came here for the first time and will surely be back. The food is very good, fresh, and inexpensive. Try the concha, it’s delicious!
We were staying at the Sheraton and wanted to stay close to town so we walked over to Kashi. What a great decision that was. Victor our server was attentive to our every need. The sushi was terrific at a very reasonable price. Thank you…Victor for a great evening.More
We were headed out to a sushi restaurant that a friend recommended. On the way our Uber driver suggested we try someplace he liked more. We took a chance with Kashi and were really happy. The ambiance reminds me of an old time sushi restaurant….Not fancy. The focus is on the food. Being from the States we ordered what we thought would be what I would describe as normal portions. We misjudged. Our dinner for two could have easily fed four diners. The miso soup was really good. The appetizers even better. And the sushi rolls were great. They even came with a portion of salad and steamed rice. Overall, the dinner was better than two other moderately sushi restaurants we’ve tried in PV. We’ll go back! While the sashimi was really good, it did not have the silky texture of the fish in the Japanese restaurants back home, but I live in Seattle, which has a large Japanese population and amazing fresh seafood.More
Pleasantly surprised. Across the street from Sheraton, up one block. Wow! Tasty sushi prepared nicely, tuna sashimi, specialty rolls, really good! We were full and happy.4 stars!
Well this used to be top 3 for me in Puerto Vallarta. It’s gone south in 5 years. We live and work in Vallarta in the real estate business and have the occasion to refer hundreds of clients each year to restaurants. Service is horrible….The waiters are untrained, don’t ask each diner what they’d like, forget orders, don’t bring chopsticks, wasabi, infer, or any of the necessary items for eating sushi. The food is about average now – it used to be excellent. Unlikely we will be coming back here or referring anyone, unless the management can give us a great reason to give them another chance!More
Ive been eating here since this restaurant opened years ago but it seems the quality and taste of food its going down, special miso soup was tasteless and my sushi roll was just insipid, on the other side prices are still the same, if you…want a cheap mealMore
We have eaten at Kashi before and it never disappoints. This time was no exception. The food was excellent! The apple martinis were outstanding and the service was very good. It may not be the fanciest restaurant in town but, our dinner for four (4…orders plus a conch) and 2 drinks each came to only $910. We will be sure to go back again next month.More
This is a standard sushi restaurant that has a few unique menu options. I really like the aguachiles roll. Not super gourmet but hits the spot when craving sushi.
