We had some good afternoons in this bar listening to live music. Especially liked The Classics and The Change. Bar staff are really nice. I wouldn’t order food here, for reasons I won’t go into!

Awesome place! The owners treat you like their family, have delicious food and drinks at very reasonable prices, and have live bands. We were there a bit late in the day and our 5 year old son was tired. They offered him a spot to…sleep on the couch and brought him a pillow. It’s a very laid back kind of place but at the same time, lots of fun 🙂More

My Girlfriend and I visited TR because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. The fish tacos and guacamole was so good. Pico de gallo and chips was also good. We actually ate her twice. 5 fish tacos, guacamole, and beers for $20 US. Money well spent.

This family operated business is in a great location and was a total surprise. We were going to a well-known tacos restaurant nearby, but it had a twenty minute wait and I had heard of La Revolucion. It had fantastic service, affordable prices, and food…that you would swear you died and went to heaven. My friends and I all had fish tacos and they were literally the best I’ve ever tried. We met the owner, his son and the rest of the family. Really nice people who treat the business like their family home. My only regret is we did not find La Revolucion earlier in our trip so we could have gone back a few more times.More

My son was dying to get some good tacos while in Mexico and was a little disappointed that most restaurants that we went to had mostly seafood or chicken and not the traditional tacos he was hoping to find so he finally googled a place…for tacos and saw this one with great reviews. We are so glad we went!! The best chicken, fish and steak tacos!! Soooo good! Staff was super friendly too and very good pricing and very clean. They also put out lots of good toppings for it (limes, cucumber, onions, etc). Highly recommend.More

We found La Revolucion by accident, on our way to somewhere else that turned out to be a wild goose chase. But never mind, La Revolucion totally made up for it. Recently purchased by a new owner, and not even officially open, we were welcomed…in by Rick, the new owner, who was justifiably proud to own such a unique piece of PV heritage. Not sure if it is really the oldest bar in PV, but no doubt it has character and the old wooden bar top has many a story to tell. We can’t comment on food, as the kitchen wasn’t open yet. But the drinks and the ambience were excellent! This is definitely a locals bar, but everyone is welcome. If you are looking to experience some local culture, La Revolucion is a great option!More

We wandered into this wonderful cantina based on the advice of our waiter at Trio. We asked him for a local’s bar. The room is large but warm, and the focal point is a really great old bar. Several tables were full when we arrived….People kept getting up to put songs on the free juke box, which, after being plied with several shots of tequila, we discovered was also a karaoke machine. Diana was waiting tables in the room and singing along with the music. She is very friendly and has a great voice. Fabi was behind the bar. She is friendly and bright. During our first visit, we stayed for three or four beers, but these were accompanied by free tequila shots infused with some tasty fruit that Fabi had concocted. They were delicious and dangerous! The girls gave us free snacks, chatted with us, and encouraged us to sing. We felt as though we were regulars. Just before the night got away from us, we decided we had better pay and go. The bill more than reasonable. As we left, the folks who were sitting at the table nearest the juke box all stood and waived goodbye. We went back several times and had the same great experience every time. Try the shrimp. We can’t wait to return to this friendly place.More

We were in the boardwalk area of PV, and chose to go off to the side streets and found this little restaurant! While the waitress spoke very little English (and our limited Spanish), we were able to communicate well enough to have a delicious late…lunch! We were the only one there with an attentive and stunningly beautiful waitress – to my husband’s delight! I had fish “bassa” (sp?) prepared with garlic that melted in my mouth, and my husband had fajitas that were fresh and delicious!! It was priced well and definitely not a tourist trap! Fun decor!More

I went there for breakfast with my wife, another couple and a friend. The waiter was very unattentive and seemed to spend a lot of time at the one other table that was there. My wife wanted more coffee but never got it. I had…to track him down for the bill. My bacon and eggs weren’t the best. The eggs were okay but the slice and a half of bacon was a little under cooked for my liking. Needless to say, not much of a tip and we won’t go back.More
