Outstanding evening of food and entertainment ! What fun this place is as well as wonderful food! I had the catch of the day and it was Mahi Mahi with shrimp encrusted on top of it the Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection moist yet…flaky and the shrimp were cooked just right! Had the guacamole and they don’t make it till you ask for it and it was sooo fresh and yummy! Sol one of the owners has been a Cabaret singer for years and let me tell you he can still belt them out beautifully !! His partner Chris also is just as much fun keeping people laughing table to table! Thank you Ivan and Alex for such great service as well! Run don’t walk to this majestic find and you too will understand why!More
My wife and I have been here quite a few times in the past 3 months. It’s a place that makes you feel like your welcome home. The waiters go overboard to make sure your looked after, the owner a fun guy sometimes dressed up…like a Pirate. The soup like others mentioned is very very good…home made…great selection of meals, great happy hour drinks….you always get chips/salsa, soup/bread with all meals…yum. Come before 6:00 or make a reservation because it gets busy.More
Very reasonable prices. Great service and the pea soup……I need the recipe. Different happy hour every night.
This is a local favorite. Extensive menu choices. Seafood, cordon blue, soup with your entree is a meal alone. New soup every day. Even liver and onions and their coconut shrimp you want to have again. Owner Sol is dedicated to home style cooking with…taste and modest prices so you definitely return. Happy hour is the way to start here. All outdoor seating.More
Great quality, service & Value The owner Sol is local favorite and makes sure you are happy with your meals. Always return here for their big menu.
The food and services were really great here.. I opted for the special the night we were there – all the food looked looked great. The special that evening was fish and it was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, humorous, and personable. A good dining…experience!More
Excellent food but they take their vacation at the busiest time of the year. It is usually closed Christmas and New Year. When it is open the outside seating area is quite charming.
Visited for dinner. Staff were very friendly. Given menus and tortilla dips. Order for food and drinks taken. All good so far. Menus and tortillas were then given to us again by the same waiter. Waiter was a little dizzy so say the least. Starters…were fine. I had the ribs. They were ok but a bit fatty. My partner had the chicken satay. He thought the chicken was a bit rubbery. Food was ok for the price paid but don’t expect a 5* dining experience.More
Excellent service, fantastic owners, great food, huge variety on the menu, and excellent drinks on special. I’ll be back again!
Very reasonable food and usually very busy…I especially love Sol the owner singing -a great character from Palm Springs..
I had dinner at the Bohemio Cafe just a few short evenings ago. We went a little later this time & was very pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly, & you won’t find better food anywhere. I thoroughly enjoyed the coconut shrimp which was…served with vegetables & rice. The dish was piping hot, which makes all the difference to the flavour of the food. Sol, the owner put on a hilarious show. He sang “Come Fly With Me”, & he was totally hilarious. He spoke to the audience as well, & had us all in stitches. I was ill with a bad cold, & was coughing quite a bit, then next thing I knew, Alejandro put a glass of water down for me. I didn’t ask for this, he did this out of kindness which I truly appreciated. We will be returning to Puerto Vallarta again in April/2017 & intend on having dinner at the Bohemio once again..but at that time, I shall try the meatloaf which is reputed to be totally delicious. If you want great food at a great price, the Bohemio is the place for you.We both had drinks with our meals, & the total came to about $20.00/each. You can’t go wrong!More
If you get a little homesick for the U.S. Bohemio Cafe has a killer fried chicken–so good! Their soups are also excellent, and they have the best margaritas.
Had some of our most memorable meals here. Sol, the outgoing, flamboyant owner makes sure that you have an enjoyable experience. The servers are friendly and welcoming. Go for the excellent soups, varied menu and delicious margaritas coupled with great service.
This place was a bit hard to find, don’t mix it up with the Cafe Bohemio, which is just a coffee shop! Food was good and inexpensive. Owner was there are engaged with the customers. He takes great pride in his recipes.
just little place..easy to miss.. But it has a huge menu and priced very reasonably.. Soup s include with all dinners.had pozole very different than any I have had before but very good. The meatloaf was great. We had a dessert..just mediocre..The bill for two…including soup, meatloaf, potato, a beer and a mango and tip margarita was under $25More
