Very impressive Jalisco seafood restaurant. The portions are HUGE so be careful about what you order. The mixed ceviche was excellent. The Pescado Zarandeado was one of the best I’ve had. Great fun. Buckets of beer, 10 for 330 pesos. Food was good. Overall good but a little expensive. It for BBQ fish I can see it. Make sure you visit if you can.
Eduardo’s used to be a great out of the way restaurant, much favored by locals and savvy tourists. NOW IT ISN’T. On Saturday and Sunday mornings they used to have a 100 peso Buffet featuring many local dishes. THEY DON’T HAVE THAT ANYMORE. We were…disappointed. After all, it is 45 minute walk along the beach to get there. To understand this review, you may need to appreciate that in the past we have enjoyed this walk/lazy brunch/walk back, many many times. It is like I’m lamenting the loss of an old friend. Instead of the expected inexpensive brunch, we were handed a new menu with outrageous prices. It didn’t help that they had even jacked up the price of their beer by 35% We decided to stay, ordered a fish platter, and a couple tostadas. It took so long for the food to arrive that we eventually ordered a guacamole appetizer too. And even that took ages and a second request before it arrived. The food, when it finally arrived, was okay, kind of average and in no way justifying the outrageous prices. When the bill arrived, it contained other bad surprises, such as prices being higher than the menu had said, and a tip that was calculated into it. It was labeled as an optional tip. But, when I paid by cash, and received my change, they had already kept it. Judging by the waiter’s reaction when I pocketed all my change, it wasn’t obvious that he got to participate in the tip which had been hidden inside of the bill. In summary, FORGET THIS RESTAURANT. I won’t be going back. They have changed from being a friendly happy place where everyone was welcome: families, locals, tourists, everyone. Instead, they are now the type of business which gives Mexico a bad name, by trying to extract every peso they can from the “rich tourist” who accidentally stumbles into their clutches.More
Did some research on this area and decided to try it. Walked up he beach from Club Regina about 45 minutes. Great walk. Came to a cluster of beach restaurants and eduardo’s is near the north end. Greeted and got to pick our table. Ordered…the snapper special. Waiter ask me if I wanted to choose my fish so off to the kitchen I went. Got a bucket of beer and sat down to relax. Awesome just being 20 feet from the water. Could have swam but we just hung out. I walked around and looked at everything. Really interesting. All workers were super friendly. Food came out and it was great and enough for two! Really cheap for the amount you get. Waiter called a taxi for us and it was a $120 peso ride back to Marina area. Great way to spend 2-3 hours. Eduardo is way off the beaten path,,past home depot. There are a couple of dozen eateries in one clump and many have live mexican music. They are right on the beach and serve all kinds of mexican food. Very mexican, if you like that kind…of experience !!! Also a crocodile reserve nearby.More

Ok, this place is completely of the tourist track but it is an absolute gem because of its beautiful location, great food and amazing setting. This is your typical Mexican seafood dinning next to the beach, tal of your sandals and enjoy the relaxed setting….The restaurant is like a huge shack that can acomódate all of your friends and family. We saw all the places on the beach while sailing back to the marina. I asked the captain what they were and he said restaurants and recommended Eduardo’s. So I thought it would be cool to eat fresh local food on the beach. No concierge…at the Grand Luxxe had ever heard of these places but he said to give it a try and we did. Keep in mind that this place is very “rustic”. The floor is the sand on the beach. It has a roof and electricity but otherwise is open air with plastic chairs and tables, and the bathroom is pretty much non functional. It will take at least 15 minutes of driving down an unpaved very bumpy road to get there. Do not expect a line of taxis to be waiting to take you home. If you get there by taxi, pay for him to wait for you. On the plus side, the food is fantastic (and inexpensive). We had lobster, many kinds of shrimp, red snapper, octopus, mahi mahi, and crab. We also had carne asada and guacamole and beer. Way too much food so brought left overs back to the resort. Worst thing about the experience was probably the huge swarm of mosquitoes but to the restaurants credit, they brought us a can of spray and were very nice people.More
We walked down the beach from near the Marina near the airport to this location. Our strep counter said it was over 2 miles one way! It can also be reached by taxi from the east or west. You select your fresh fish and be…sure to ask them to debone for grilling. We had a 2.2KG Red Snapper that fed 4 of us very abundantly! It comes with homemade tortillas, salsa and rice. It was superb. The total cost for the fish, 4 beer and a Coke was 350 Pesos per couple!More
